PROton Programmer

The PROton SWD Programmer

The PROton Debugger card is used during product development to connect the USB port on a development computer to the Single Wire Debug port on many ARM® core micro-controllers.

The PROton SWD Debugger integrates with the CodeWarror IDE or the Kinetis Design Studio to allow you to program the memory contained on the controller board. Once the application program is installed on to the controller the PROton SWD Debugger will allow you to run the program in operating mode. Alternatively it will allow you to trace through the application program an instruction or a number of instructions at a time. It supports both hardware and software break points so code can be debugged in both volatile and non-volatile memories.

Once the application is complete the PROton SWD Debugger can be used simply as a programmer to program your application code into the target ARM® controllers.

A PROton SWD Debugger card is included in all ARM® based PROton Development Packs.

CCLIX Debugger

The CCLIX Debugger card is used during product development to connect the USB port on a development computer to the background debug port on the CCLIX controller. It can also be used with our other ColdFire core microcontrollers.
The CCLIX Debugger integrates with the CodeWarror IDE to allow you to program the memory contained on the CCLIX board. Once the application program is installed on to the CCLIX controller the CCLIX Debugger will allow you to run the program in operating mode. Alternatively it will allow you to trace through the application program an instruction or a number of instructions at a time. Once the application is complete the CCLIX Debugger can be used simply as a programmer to program your application code into the target CCLIX controllers.

This multi function ‘combo’ board extends the facilities of the CPU by adding two serial ports, 24 digital I/O lines, four special function I/O lines, a centronics printer port and six timer/counters.
