The PROton Range

Our low cost integrated embedded controllers using the latest ARM microcontrollers.

Your application can be developed within the free Kinetis Design Studio IDE. Code is then downloaded to the micro-controller using our PROton SWD Debugger. Using the tools within the IDE the application can now be debugged. If Kinetis Design Studio is not to your taste our embedded controllers are also compatible with IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM or Keil MDK-ARM from ARM although an alternative Debugger probe is required.

Once the developer has tested the application Cambridge Microprocessor Systems provide a low cost fast turn round design service to integrate the extra hardware to our PROton controller.

To ease your product development we can also supply a PROton PR-25 Demo board. When the PR-25 is plugged onto the Demo board the general purpose I/O channels can be monitored by LEDs and inputs simulated using switches. The Demo board also allows some of the analogue inputs and outputs to be tested.

Another peripheral card that we can supply for the PR-25 is a proto typing board. The PR-25 controller is plugged onto the proto typing board. The developer can now add any additional hardware using the 0.1 inch grid matrix. Once the developer has tested the application Cambridge Microprocessor Systems provide a low cost fast turn round design service to integrate the extra hardware to our PROton controller.
